9 top suppliers for beautiful lever door handles

When you're up to your eyeballs in selecting the long list of items necessary for your build or renovation, by the time you get to door handles, you might be experiencing sourcing fatigue!

Try to remember to keep some budget aside for this because there's nothing worse than regretting decisions on these. You want to invest in good quality that you love the look and feel of. Trying to change them down the track can be a major hassle and significant expense, so invest the time and money to nail this up front.

These are my top 9 go-to suppliers for beautiful lever door handles for my Sydney-based business:

1. Windsor Hardware

Windsor hardware are a New Zealand company supplying our Australian market with beautifully designed and crafted door hardware. They offer a gorgeous range of styles which are made in Italy but are hand finished and polished in NZ. I have used them in a recent project and loved them. I think their 'Italian" range is my favourite.

They also offer a load of colours and finishes and other options. Depending on those variants the prices are circa $600+ per set.

2. Architectural Door Hardware (ADH)

John and his team at ADH are based in Leichhardt and are super helpful and knowledgeable. They're loved by designers and architects alike because of their service and quality products. They supply beautiful, quality hardware and offer a wealth of experience and help if you're a bit lost. They can also do custom pieces which can come in handy! It's definitely worth a visit to their showroom to touch and feel their wonderful range.

3. Mother of Pearl and Sons

Another go-to for the design industry, MOP&S have been around for a long time. You can also visit their showroom in Waterloo if you're after some inspiration! Again, a supplier of quality pieces from around the world and a wonderful source of knowledge and help to choose the perfect handles for your home.

4. Lo & Co

I love Lo & Co. I use them probably the most. Love their range, their service, the quality of their product. They have loads of styles on offer but they also have some that are a bit different to everything you see around such as these "Tubby" Levers that come in 7 finishes!

5. English Tapware

Holy moly. These guys have seriously beautiful things. Not just tapware (which are super divine!) but also these gorgeous leather wrapped lever handles that come in 6 different leather options and 7 different metal finishes. I really love the mix of materials and I think this adds an elevated finish to hardware which is unexpected and screams quality.

6. Passio Interiors

If you're after something a bit more Hollywood, then these brass and acrylic door levers might be just the thing. They come in three different finishes with the acrylic. Tre chic, no?

7. ABI Interiors

These guys are high up on the faves list for a lot of designers I know! Well priced, good quality products and excellent customer service make it an easy go-to for not only modern hardware but gorgeous bathroom and kitchen ware such as taps, baths, loo, showers etc etc. Minimalist style that work in a range of styles, they also offer quite an extensive range of finishes from gun metal to copper and a lot in between.

They also have a great range of accessible bathroom items (ideal for older or less mobile folk who still like their bathrooms to look lovely).

8. Buster & Punch

I came across these guys when I was looking for attractive light switches (and they have some gorgeous options). I would say their style is industrial but the door handles (and light switches) would work in traditional and modern houses just as well.

9. Keeler Hardware

These guys provide a range of products to tradies and the public and I've used them on a few projects for door hardware. They have a good range covering modern to traditional styles. They have knowledgeable customer service staff that are super helpful when you need clarity on the technical side of things and also to arrange delivery to site. I highly recommend them!
